10 Mile Hot Springs

10 Mile Hot Springs near Lowman is just far enough off the highway to make it an attractive alternative to the ever crowded Kirkham Hot Springs. The pools here are small and may need to be maintained, but should fill quickly and the solitude is worth it. Give it a shot and let us know if you had a good time!

Personal Notes

The path to get here is narrow between bushes and flowers at certain points, plenty of bugs and opportunities for bears. That being said, it's likely nothing to ever worry about and I'm a giant wuss.

The turn to get here is right near the Lowman Community Church onto 10 Mile Creek Road. Follow the road immediately across the bridge and take your first left just feet after the bridge ends. From here, stay on this dirt road and don't take any of the forks to the side. Don't even look at them, Sharron! This road will eventually end at the stream and can't be driven any further (you'll know exactly where this is; its not more than 10 minutes down from the highway). Park at the end, and get ready to cross a roaring 10 foot wide stream; it's small but it's mighty and you could easily fall in. After the stream follow the road/path a half mile through bushes and woods (lots of berry bushes, so be loud in case of bears), and keep your eye open for the cairns and pools on the right side of the path after a half mile.
