Rocky Canyon Hot Springs

There's lots to talk about with Rocky Canyon Hot Springs. From a river crossing, to multiple cascading pools, Rocky Canyon has something for everyone. When arriving you'll cross over the middle fork of the Payette River. Which means you'll be getting cold. I've done the crossing in the summer and fall, and while its cold and fast, I wouldn't say it's super dangerous and I've seen it crossed by young children before. As always, use your head and if its too high or too fast, head up road to Fire Crew Hot Springs which is on the 'right' side of the river.

The hot springs itself is awesome with a couple pool at the bottom with several upwards cascading pools feeding into them. Take a chance on this one, you won't be disappointed.

Nudity Potential At Rocky Canyon: I mean... you could

Rocky Canyon Hot Springs is located about 12.5 miles from Crouch, ID. Drive through Crouch, have lunch at the Dirty Shame Saloon, and continue through town. After around 12.5 miles you'll see a pullout on the river side of the road big enough for several cars. Look across the river, if it looks hella awesome then you're in the right place. Park and get ready to get cold while crossing the river!
