Snively Hot Springs

Description

Late summer or early fall would be the best time to take a trip to Snively Hot Springs. The river runs high other times of year and makes the large pool considerably smaller. This, mixed with searing hot water, makes for a day of trying to get the mixture correct enough to sit in for awhile.

Keep In Mind

A lot of people visit this area, and as such, there are some unsavory character around. As anywhere, keep your head down and be alert and you'll be totally fine. We're likely being overly cautious here with this warning, there a vast majority of great, friendly, people here too.

Personal Notes

A fun summer day trip, I'd also wait for a nice fall or spring day to check this bad boy out if needed.

Directions

It'll be best to type 'Snively Hot Springs' into your phone and use those directions. There are a lot of twists and turns to get here, but it's not hard. You'll know you're almost there when you get into a canyon and pass a giant pipe on the side of the road. The hot springs will be ahead on the left.
